EAST recently had our volunteers with the help of St Thomas Historical Trust, Rotarian’s, Environmental Rangers and We Grow Food Inc. help clearing of grass around future planting locations for landscaping at Creque Marine Railway and clean up of the surrounding areas. We met at 8:30 a.m. at the French town dock and had Sea Tow take us to the island for the clean up We removed at least 20 bags of marine debrie and trash that day. Refreshments, water, ice and trash removal gloves were provided by Premier Wines and Spirits and Lesley Comissiong. After the event we were taught about the history of the island and what the trust is planning in the future by Charles Consolvo.
